Only those who are convinced can convince others.
– Joseph Joubert
Everything in the right order: We’ve invested a lot of time and effort into opening the door to potential customers. When someone takes notice of us, they become a a lead—a potential client. Step two of our plan involves the steps necessary to ensure that this lead actually makes a purchase from us.
In technical terms, this process is called “conversion”—that is, the ratio of prospects to paying clients. Specifically: A prospect becomes a lead, and the lead becomes a paying client—that is conversion. However, achieving a high conversion rate is no easy task. It requires specific measures if you want to convince potential clients and convert them into actual clients.
Step two of our plan therefore involves the services we can offer to achieve a high conversion rate. This is not only about convincing prospective clients to enter into a client relationship with us, but also about building long-term and successful relationships with our clients.
The ideal scenario would be a 1-to-1 conversion rate, meaning every prospect becomes a paying client. But the internet has taught us that even a 1,000-to-1 ratio can be positive—as long as you have control over the relevant variables. This means that the goal isn’t to convert every single prospect into a client, but rather to generate a large number of high-quality prospects and to analyze precisely which measures are most effective at which points in time.
By the way, our second step toward the firm’s success benefits from our “out-of-the-box” thinking. We’re willing to break new ground and take creative measures to achieve a high conversion rate. After all, it’s not just about acquiring a client, but about retaining them in the long term and offering them added value that exceeds their expectations.
